Mode Kater is german for fashion hangover. It's what you get when you love fashion a little too much. For me, they hit me when I am browsing stores that I can't afford - typically Barney's (why does an Ann Demuelemeester vest have to cost $2,000?!).

They also come from listening to the perfect album when the music makes you want to dress in a certain way. Lately, The Dead Weather album "Horehound" has really made me want to dress like a dirty, southern, blues rocker.

In general, this blog will be the fashion equivalent to a Vitamin Water binge the morning after a long night at Snug Harbor.
